A Drop-Dead Charming Point & Click Adventure Game

In PRIM, a point-and-click adventure game set in the Land of the Dead, Thanatos, the Angel of Death, faces unexpected challenges in raising his teenage daughter, Prim. After the passing of her mother, Prim learns that her father is none other than Death himself, and she is now bound to live with him in the Underworld. Determined to escape his rigid rules, Prim seizes an opportunity on her 16th birthday, only to unleash her own formidable powers with unforeseen, devastating effects.

In her quest to make things right, Prim must navigate the Underworld, confronting various perils and forging unexpected alliances, all while seeking the freedom that eludes her in the shadow of Death’s watchful gaze.

At its heart, PRIM explores a father’s struggle to let go and a young girl’s journey of self-discovery. But it’s also a captivating adventure filled with magic, mystery, and dark humour. Prim travels back and forth between the realms of the dead and the living, facing external and internal demons, and is joined by her unique sidekick, an enchanted eye with spider legs.

PRIM invites players into a creepy-but-cute world of eerie humour and vibrant storytelling. When her mother passes away, Prim learns that she’s the daughter of Death himself and must now navigate life under her father’s roof. Yet, the Grim Reaper’s household has strict rules, and when Prim breaks one, the consequences are anything but ordinary. Can players help Prim find meaning amid the macabre?

Developed by Common Colors, founded by Jonas Fisch, an English and Philosophy teacher from Germany, PRIM is Jonas’s first full-length game. Inspired by his childhood love for classics like Day of the Tentacle, Jonas began his game development journey in 2016, crafting three short freeware games before realising his dream with PRIM. Nominated for the “Deutscher Computerspielpreis” in 2022 as “Best Prototype,” PRIM is the result of collaboration with talented freelance creators, some of whom Jonas had worked with on previous projects.
