Independent developer J-Cat Games Limited launched their crowdfunding campaign on the 29 February 2024 for the story-rich action RPG title Godshard Chronicles. Inspired by the likes of Lunar: Silver Star Story, the Mana series, and the Zelda series, Godshard Chronicles follows Adanna and Ruby as they progress through the ranks of Mana Knights and chase down Adanna’s long-lost father while discovering the mysteries behind the titular godshard. Players can adventure in the world solo or bring along a friend in local drop in/out co-op. Composers Noriyuki Iwadare (Lunar, Grandia, and the Ace Attorney series) and Shauno Isomura (solo violinist on Penny Blood and Link: The Unleashed Nexus) are contributing music, while actor John Truitt (Ghaleon in the Lunar series) returns to voice a major role.
The Godshard Chronicles is currently seeking approximately $50,000 USD to finalize development. The project is well underway towards achieving its funding goal and aims to surpass it, with plans to meet additional tier goals on Kickstarter: Godshard Chronicles on Kickstarter
